Lord,
help me Father to know, and hear your word. Teach me God to learn, and listen to your voice. cleanse my heart oh God, sharpen my spirit, to be quick to your leading.. and chase after your feet..
father for a long time, I have felt left out.. wondering in the midst of a cloud.. blinded by my own feeble shortcomings.. unaware of what lies beyond the mist.. aimlessly drifting.. hopeless, and insecure.. wanting and knowing.. yet failiing and falling..
Lord I wish to put this season behind me.. a season of lost.. a season of uncertainty.. and desire to be renewed… to begin in the heart.. and mind.. to live life again, as you desire.. to be filled with love, and light.. to walk again in your fellowship.. to listen and yearn for your command.. to feel the warmth of a fathers embrace.. the gentleness that comes from his whisper.. the steadfastness that is made evident by his hand.. lord teach me to want.. teach me to need.. break my heart to know you more.. forgive my sinful pride.. my doubt.. and pardon my shame.. do not cast me out oh God.. for to where and whom shall I go? apart from you, lies ruin and dismay.. death runs abound.. .only in you do i find shelter.. only in you, can i place my trust..
blessed is your name my Lord.. deliver me from this evil.. and lead me not into the hands of the enemy.. for thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory forever more..
